As a Parts Cleaner , you will perform chemical and mechanical cleaning of parts and other metal products by hand, solvent bath or other processes to remove unwanted materials.

What you’ll do :

• Learn and operate various cleaning methods, including hand cleaning with industrial solvents, chemical cleaning, grit blasting, and mechanical cleaning processes.
• Operate and maintain metal cleaning equipment such as vapor blasters, wheelabrators, deburrers, and blast cabinets.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final cleaning, including drying methods (hot water, air, oven).
• Maintain cleaning tanks, monitor chemical concentrations, and perform titration checks.
• Prepare and mask surfaces for cleaning and non-destructive testing.
• Identify and segregate metal parts for appropriate cleaning processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, disposing of waste properly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train in complementary skills.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or discrepancies.
