(CAN) Co-Manager

Position Summary

To support the Store Manager in managing store operations according to company guidelines and lead associates to ensure friendly, helpful service and drive profitable store sales. Plays an active role in their own professional development, along the path to becoming a Store Manager.

What you'll do

• Drive profitable sales : Achieve sales and profit goals, manage budgets, and analyze sales / financial reports to respond to market changes while controlling expenditures. Communicate sales results and guide interpretation of results.
• Operational management : Create operational plans with support from the Store Manager, delegate tasks, ensure optimal store conditions, and implement new store programs while monitoring inventory and replenishment.
• Asset protection and safety : Execute and monitor asset protection, safety controls, and quality standards, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Customer service : Serve as an ambassador by greeting customers, seeking feedback, and resolving issues to create a positive shopping experience. Enforce friendly customer service techniques.
• Community engagement : Support store initiatives to serve the community by participating in events and developing relationships with community groups.
• Leadership and development : Lead and develop Assistant Managers, recognize accomplishments, and identify high-potential associates for training and growth. Prepare for potential progression to Store Manager.
• Company values and relationships : Hold team accountable through performance feedback, build relationships with supporting functions like HR.
• Technology adaptation : Oversee the implementation of digital applications, train management on new processes, and adapt to technological changes.
