WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

We are hiring seasonal temporary forepersons, scale operators, and beet receivers for beet receiving stations in Taber, Burdett, Vauxhall, Enchant, Picture Butte, Coaldale, and Tempest.

In preparation for the sugar beet harvest season, we seek motivated individuals to work at our receiving stations. Job duties may include, but are not limited to : operating a piler, taking tare samples, running a skid steer, and cleaning / lubricating the piler. Positions will be assigned based on skillset and availability. Candidates must be able to lift 15-20 kg consistently and stand / walk for most of their shift. Various shift times are available, ranging from 8-12 hours daily, up to 6 days a week, weather permitting.

Paid training will be provided to learn equipment operation. Steel-toed boots of 6" or higher are required, and all other PPE will be supplied.

Wages range from $19.76 to $22.44 per hour, with a $1.75 shift premium for evening and night shifts. A retention bonus may be available at season's end (conditions apply).
