A Snapshot of Your Day

As Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for handling all commercial and financial topics throughout the whole sales/bid process and be responsible for the preparation and negotiation of the commercial and financial terms and conditions. You will also lead negotiations with the support of the legal team and interact with a very diverse and international team within the region and the Headquarter.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Analyze customer requirements, evaluation methods and criteria to develop the winning strategy together with the Sales Manager.
  • Understand business conditions and competition pricing.
  • Define business models based on business, customer and tax regulations.
  • Handle all commercial aspects of the bid such as contract analysis, cost calculation, financing concepts, currency, hedging, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurances, export control, compliance and more.
  • Maintain relationships with external project collaborators such as customers or consortium partners.
  • Prepare and present the Limits of Authority (LoA) according to the protocol required and act as sparring partner for regions and bid team members.
  • Participate in negotiation of T&Cs with applicable guidelines, lead commercial negotiations in coordination with relevant departments (e.g. Legal, SFS, insurance, Taxes).
  • Ensure correctness of relevant approvals in accordance with the negotiations and provide lessons learned to financially and contractually comparable projects.
  • Hands‑on attitude required to manage the full scope of financial and commercial activities during the sales phase.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in various finance functions such as commercial project management, project controlling or accounting which includes project financing, accounting and reporting principles.
  • Experience in commercial bid or sales management for product, service or solution business with external customers, including offer preparation and contraction negotiations.
  • Analytical thinking, result and quality‑oriented approach, solid professional judgment and problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to conceptualize & socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English; able to clearly and concisely express information to associates, peers and senior management through writing, speaking and presentations.
  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and heavy workload and easy on travels.

En tant que directeur des ventes commerciales, vous serez responsable de la gestion de tous les sujets commerciaux et financiers tout au long du processus de vente et d’appel d’offres, ainsi que de la préparation et de la négociation des termes et conditions commerciaux et financiers.   • Analyserez les besoins des clients, les méthodes d’évaluation et les critères afin de développer la stratégie gagnante avec le directeur des ventes.
  • Comprendre les conditions d’affaires et la tarification de la concurrence.
  • Définir des modèles d’affaires basés sur les règlements commerciaux, clients et fiscaux.
  • Gérer tous les aspects commerciaux de l’appel d’offres, tels que l’analyse des contrats, le calcul des coûts, les concepts de financement, la monnaie, la couverture, les risques et opportunités, les obligations, les modalités de paiement, la notation de crédit, les assurances, le contrôle des exportations, la conformité, etc.
  • Gestion des relations avec des collaborateurs externes du projet, tels que des clients ou des partenaires de consortium.
  • Préparer et présenter les Limites d'Autorité (LoA) selon le protocole requis et agir comme partenaire d’entraînement pour les régions et les membres de l'équipe de soumission.
  • Participer à la négociation des conditions et conditions selon les lignes directrices applicables, diriger les négociations commerciales en coordination avec les départements concernés (par exemple, Juridique, SFS, assurances, Fiscalité, etc.).
  • Assurer l'exactitude des approbations pertinentes conformément aux négociations réelles et fournir des leçons tirées de projets financièrement et contractuellement comparables.
  • Une attitude proactive est nécessaire pour bien gérer l'ensemble des activités financières et commerciales durant la phase de vente.

Ce dont vous avez besoin

  • Un diplôme en administration des affaires/gestion, finance, comptabilité ou une expérience professionnelle équivalente.
  • Expérience dans diverses fonctions financières telles que la gestion de projets commerciaux, le contrôle de projet ou la comptabilité, incluant le financement de projets, la comptabilité et les principes de reporting.
  • Expérience en gestion commerciale des appels d'offres ou des ventes pour des affaires de produits, services ou solutions avec des clients externes, incluant la préparation d'offres et les négociations de contraction.
  • La pensée analytique, l'approche axée sur les résultats et la qualité, un jugement professionnel solide et une capacité de résolution de problèmes sont des compétences requises.
  • Capacité à conceptualiser et socialiser des idées, à faire des recommandations et à recueillir le consensus de l'équipe pour aller de l'avant.
