Hospital Security Officers maintain a high regard for the rights of all hospital patrons & the laws governing those rights. We play a key role in providing a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Location : KW Campus

Work Type : Part Time

Shift : United Steelworkers

Responsibilities

• Twenty four hour Security coverage of the hospital with a dedicated officer in the Emergency Department
• Immediate response to all Hospital Emergency Codes
• Asset protection
• Maintaining a safe environment for Patients, Staff, Physicians & Volunteers
• Access control
• Issuing parking infraction notices
• Assisting clinical staff with patient care as required
• Will be required to work at both the KW and Freeport Campuses, with the primary site as KW Campus

Qualifications

Ability to make decisions in emergency or stressful situations
