What you will do :

Project Cost Management :

• Ensures the dissemination, explanation, and compliance with consortium management methods; suggests improvements to the Cost Control Manager when relevant.
• Maintains constant communication with the Construction, Procurement, and Accounting teams to ensure proper expense allocation and coherent project management.
• Prepares budget summaries within their scope and ensures data and assumptions are consistent.
• Guarantees the reliability of operating results by analyzing remaining expenditures, quantities implemented, key ratios and their evolution, billing discrepancies, operational disputes, equipment, outstanding purchase orders, time tracking for salaried and hourly staff, and accrued expenses.
• Ensures proper entity management by analyzing monthly financial reports, overhead costs, potential social and environmental risks, compliance with framework agreements negotiated by the Procurement Department, and various variance accounts (equipment, personnel, etc.).

The Cost Controller is responsible for making a significant contribution to the cost management of major projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Cost Control Manager – Major Projects, their mission is to carry out analyses and monitor any corrective actions related to expense tracking. This role plays a key part in preparing various budgets and revisions for submission to Project Management. They collect, analyze, and summarize information on opportunities and risks to assist Project Management in decision-making.
