Job Description
SummaryReporting to the Medical Radiation Tech, Catheterization Lab Leader, (and under the direction of Cardiologists), performs established diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac labs for the majority of time. Within established policies, procedures, and standards, performs supply and equipment inventory duties for the Catheterization Lab area.
Education, Training and Experience
Graduation from a recognized school of medical imaging, plus two (2) years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) Certified.
Skills and Abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
