Certified Dental Assistant

A family-owned and well-established general practice located in the Fairview area of Vancouver is looking for a full-time Certified Dental Assistant to join its enthusiastic team. The office describes itself as a casual environment with a lot of laughter, yet it's very busy and professional at the same time.

Schedule:

• Mondays through Thursdays, 7:30am - 5:30pm (patients from 8:00am - 5:00pm)
• No weekends or evenings required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $32-$37/hour, based on experience and alignment with requirements

• Parking is not included: a spot is available for $80/month.

Requirements:

• Certified as a dental assistant - level 2, under BCCOHP
• Two years of experience as a dental assistant in Canada is required
• Knowledge of Cleardent is an asset
• Comfortable with implants or willing to learn a surgical setup
• Must have a commute time of 45 minutes or less, whether by transit or driving.
• Great communication skills and a strong command of the English language
• A self-starter who asks questions instead of waiting to be told
• Reliable, punctual, and possesses a very strong work ethic
