Shipper / Receiver & Painter / Quality Control

Imperial Welding Ltd. is looking for an enthusiastic individual for the position of Shipper / Receiver & Painter / Quality Control.

This is an ideal position for a career-minded individual who enjoys working in a busy, dynamic environment.

The position involves receiving goods and dealing with paperwork and delivery drivers. Shipping finished product to site, loading trailers, painting, quality control, and general housekeeping.

Job Duties :

Including, but not limited to :

Safely load, unload, move, ship, and receive product.
Perform quality audits of the condition of shipped goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off / shipping.
Wrap skids of completed parts.
Paint structural steel.
General housekeeping.
Other duties, as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

Working outdoors and indoors.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs.

Uneven walking surfaces.

Working around machinery with moving parts.

Working around moving objects or vehicles.

Requirements :

Good communication and people skills.

Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

Organized and has a high attention to detail.

Possess a valid driver’s license.

Customer service skills

Valid Forklift License (Will train)

Previous shipping and receiving experience would be an asset.

WHMIS certification or willing to obtain.
