Responsibilities
Breaking the mold of a traditional contact centre environment, the adviceDirect advisor is responsible toprimarily supportclients in the inbound call queue.A successful advisor willinvoke trust and build strong client relationships,determineindividual investmentneedsand provide professional, customized advice to ensure client’s financial goals are met.Advisors willsupport clients withvarious requests such asonboarding, account access,varioustradeorders,investment strategies,suitabilityconversationsetc. Advisors willalsobe requiredto fulfill sales and service activities for theclientsin accordance withapproved procedures.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates whoexhibita strong desireto work in a fast-paced environment and whotruly wantto make a difference in the lives of our clients. Successful candidates will have :
A minimum of four (4)yearsof relevant industry experience or a post‑secondary degree or diploma
Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC)& ConductandPracticesHandbook (CPH) or Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)
Knowledge of equity, mutual funds, GICs, HISAs, ETFs and bonds.
Robust knowledge and familiarity withcommonwealthmanagement strategies and their relative strengths and weaknesses
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of clientneedby segmentation
In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and listening skills.
Language preferences : Strong verbal and written languages skills in both French and English
You’re fluent in French and English as this role provides support to clients and team members inside and / or outside the province of Quebec.
Salary :
$43,200.00 - $80,300.00
Pay Type : Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
