You will ensure data is securely backed up recoverable and protected against threats such as hardware failures and Responsibilities:Design and implement comprehensive backup strategies for on-premises and cloud configure and maintain backup software and hardware including upgrades and backup jobs and system performance to identify and resolve issues ensuring data integrity and test disaster recovery plans and validate data restoration and maintain documentation policies and procedures for backup recovery and DR storage performance and cost through techniques such as deduplication and storage growth trends and forecast capacity with infrastructure teams to mitigate performance issues including CPU saturation and workload backup scheduling to reduce peak CPU demand and minimize impact on production virtual machine workloads across clusters to alleviate resource in DR testing exercises and document outcomes for continuous technical leadership and mentorship to junior current with emerging technologies and best practices in storage and data :Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent 7 years of experience in enterprise storage backup and disaster with backup tools such as Veeam Commvault and Azure Cloud backup incloud technologies(Azure or AWS).Experience with storage platforms including SAN NAS VMware VSAN and Azure storage understanding of Windows and Linux system administration and CLI-based Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).Familiarity with Azure with ITSM and ITIL troubleshooting and problem-solving communication and documentation this excellent opportunity interest you please submit your resume including salary Industries Limited hires on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity.
