Reporting to the Manager, Outpatient Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Addictions , the SchoolsPlus Mental Health clinician provides services directly in the school community environment within the designated SchoolsPlus schools. SchoolsPlus is a collaborative model that is comprehensive and student-focused. Partners work together to educate and provide service to the child and their family, with the school as the center of the service. The clinician is a member of a school-based multidisciplinary team and participates in the planning, development, provision, and evaluation of mental health services for the assigned population in designated school settings. The service will focus on early identification and intervention of mental health disorders for children and adolescents within the school population. The clinician will act as a liaison between the client, school, and mental health services.

Minimum two years of clinical experience required. If not available, candidates with less than two years of experience may be considered for the selection process. If offered employment, they will be placed on the Clinical Therapist (Developmental) scale.
