Geotechnical Engineer / Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 3‑5 years of relevant experience to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting underground mine design, geotechnical risk management, and ground control systems, while also providing support to remnant surface mining activities as required.
This position operates on a 2‑week in / 2‑week out rotation and offers the opportunity to work closely with underground operations, technical teams, and external consultants to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant mining practices.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will collaborate with Underground Technical Services, Operations, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to champion best practices in geotechnical engineering and ground control.

Additional Information
The Company provides travel to and from the Ekati mine site out of Calgary, Yellowknife, and other northern fly points.
