Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Adventure Aviation operates from our head office in Grande Prairie as well as a base in Fort St John BC. We operate a fleet of single engine Cessna's and Piper twins in our flying school but also maintain multiple turbo prop aircraft including Piper, Beechcraft, and DeHavilland. Daily operations include inspections and rectify defects as required, as well as completing major projects and aircraft rebuilds.

Job Description:

We are looking for a licenced AME for the position of Base Engineer in Grande Prairie, Alberta and rotational engineers based in Fort St John, BC.

Daily activities include:

• Supervising and training other engineers and apprentices
• Working on commercial and private aircraft through the AMO
• Reviewing job packages.
• Interacting with customers
• Supervising day to day maintenance operations in the hangar.

Our normal work schedule in Grande Prairie is Monday to Friday 8-5, with some overtime and weekend work required. There will also be some flexibility to work around the aircraft schedules. Rotational work is based in Fort St John; housing and flights may be negotiated.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and mentoring skills, and a broad range of experience on piston and turbine engines as well as pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft. Attention to detail and computer skills are a strong asset to this position.
