Rental Sales Representative

• Present and sell rental products and services to current and potential clients emphasizing the benefits and features of the rental fleet.

• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity focusing on rental opportunities.

• Identify rental sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.

• Prepare presentations proposals and rental agreements while maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge.

• Identify and resolve client concerns related to rental services ensuring a smooth rental experience.

• Prepare various status reports including activity closings follow-up and adherence to rental sales goals.

• Communicate new rental product and service opportunities special developments information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

• Participate in marketing events such as seminars trade shows and telemarketing events with a focus on promoting rental services.

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team and with other teams.

• Commit to continuous learning and development particularly in the rental market.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of Sales or Marketing experience preferred with a focus on rental sales.

• Excellent customer service skills and good knowledge of rental market strategies and planning.

• Ability toapply logical thinking to a wide range of problems collect data draw conclusions and offer constructive opinions concerning day-to-day rental activities.

• Understanding of construction phases job situations and project conditions for the timing of approaching customers and rental product application suggestions.

• Knowledgeable of the entire rental fleet and able to demonstrate equipment whenever appropriate to increase customer awareness of rental offerings and applications.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer operations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence others develop and deliver presentations and create compose and edit written materials.

• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques with previous experience with CRM tools.
