Our client is launching a large-scale program in Québec and is seeking an Operations Consultant to support the program launch, operational setup, and ongoing delivery.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for an experienced operations professional who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and supporting cross-functional teams—without stepping into a senior leadership or people-management position. You will work closely with internal teams, partners, and subcontractors to ensure the program launches smoothly and operates efficiently at scale.
Key responsibilities
As an Operations Consultant, you will:
• Support the program launch, including the design, setup, and refinement of core operational processes
• Analyze and advise on cross-functional business processes and policies in relation to program requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities and coordinate their implementation across teams
• Review and recommend improvements to subcontractor workflows, policies, and operational processes
• Support program delivery by ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment across teams
• Assist in the production of complex reports, ensuring contractual compliance, accuracy, and professional presentation
• Consult on the setup and optimization of dashboards, operational tools, and KPI trackers
• Support the use and configuration of Power BI, Excel, and related reporting tools
• Act as a trusted operational partner to internal stakeholders, providing structured, solution-oriented guidance
You’re a great fit if you…
• Have strong experience in operations and process improvement
• Are comfortable working in program launch and rollout environments
• Enjoy balancing analysis, coordination, and hands-on execution
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional and technical teams
• Are detail-oriented, structured, and results-focused
Qualifications & experience
Strong candidates will bring:
• 7–10 years of experience in operations, process improvement, or program delivery roles
• Experience supporting program launches, service deployments, or operational transformations (strong asset)
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, building science, analytics, or a related field (education background is flexible)
• Experience with financial reporting, client reporting, and/or invoicing (asset)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query and Power BI is a strong asset
• A data-driven mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a customer-service orientation
• Experience in energy efficiency or a related sector (asset, not required)
Why this role stands out
• Key role supporting the launch and delivery of a new program
• High visibility across teams, partners, and stakeholders
• Opportunity to drive meaningful operational improvements without people management
• Collaborative environment focused on quality, structure, and continuous improvement
