Responsibilities

• As a Renewal Retention Specialist , you\'ll leverage your knowledge of personal insurance, regional market insights, and technical skills to make a real difference—focusing on client retention and preparing clients for each renewal cycle.
• You\'ll play a key part in Westland’s commitment to outstanding service, developing your front-line underwriting abilities, and gaining hands-on experience throughout the sales and client life cycles.
• Complete renewal reviews and provide advice to either clients or other advisors to identify and address potential gaps in coverage, with a focus on upselling, cross-selling and retention.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships through proactive communication.
• Maintain and process policy renewals according to Westland’s standards.
• Assist broader team of advisors and management in providing feedback on procedures, market trends, changes in underwriting guidelines and other industry updates in the spirit of continuous improvement.
• Support with reporting, additional projects and / or administrative work as needed.
• Train new employees across the organization on retention standards and renewal workflows.
