As a Senior Accountant, Cloud Accounting Services (Senior Bookkeeper) your responsibilities will include :

• Reconcile data from 3rd party applications such as Dext, Wagepoint, Plooto, etc.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile and review sales data
• Review accounts receivable / accounts payable and process using 3rd party applications
• Reconcile Monthly Vendor Statements
• Review payroll time entries and process payroll
• Run GST / HST / PST reports, review audit trail and file reports with CRA
• Prepare T4 returns
• Set up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planning and other aspects of cloud Bookkeeping work
• Perform / assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Experience with prepaids, amortization and intercompany transactions preferred
• Perform basic financial analysis
• Prepare basic analytical reports and cash flow statements
• Participate in client discovery calls
• Collaborate with clients on a regular basis
• Train and mentor junior colleagues
