What are your contributions to the team?

• Provide Nomenclature support, (interpret and audit engineering files), for Global programs dealing with changes to the basic aircraft, options, certification, and in-service issues.
• Ensure Engineering documentation is conformed to the Bombardier Standards.
• Create part numbers and raw material in SAP to support the Methods & Production teams.
• Create and maintain the Engineering Product Structure in SAP.
• Perform Product Structure Management in SAP.
• Audit/validate attributes of engineering drawings.
• Support multiple teams with general inquiries concerning part numbers and EPS.
• Lead Nomenclature process development and integration.
• Develop peers and new hires in the field of Nomenclature and Configuration Management domain through training, mentoring and review of daily work.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Nomenclature / Configuration Management.
• CMMI certification would be considered an asset.
• You have a working knowledge of SAP, CATIA/Enovia, Teamcenter.
• You have skills in developing simple IT tools (Excel/VBA, Access) for data analysis and compilation.
• You are familiar with definition and detail Engineering, aircraft configuration and change management processes.
• You have the ability to act as an ambassador regarding business initiatives (BOE, Master Plan, etc.) and is able to engage your team in them.
• You are a leader capable of balancing the management of deliverables as well as the commitment of your team.
• You have a professional attitude, can deal with internal and external Business Aircraft customers.
• Superior communication skills are essential. You have excellent time management skills. You are a far-sighted person, precise, who likes to invest in objectives and to have responsibilities.

The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $77,000 to CAD $127,000 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience. In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
