• Shift Pattern : 3 on 3 off, days and nights. 7 – 7
• Salary : £31,053.24 per annum
• YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
• Operating cheese packing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production instruction.
• Being hands-on in the event of downtime / breakdown.
• Maintain cheese quality by manually handling cheese at 20kg and manually boxing up to 50 tonnes at 10 tonnes an hour.
• Undertaking process monitoring, keeping accurate records, and taking the necessary corrective action to maintain cheese line efficiencies and packaging quality.
• Understanding the need for, and carrying out, hygiene and housekeeping requirements within the cheese department in accordance with relevant schedules and food safety requirements.
• Identifying and communicating opportunities to improve working methods.
• YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
• Someone who has deep and demonstratable experience working within a food production environment, following recipes, and / or can display a passion for the food and the products we produce.
• Knowledgeable with basic IT skills. eg. Ability to use a PC / HMI (with keyboard skills) with additional knowledge of Word and Excel an advantage.
• Efficient with problem solving skills.
• Able to communicate and work alone and as part of a team.
• Aware of basic food hygiene.
• Aware of health and safety procedures and completion of IOSH working safety.
