Corporate Paralegal

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain corporate records, board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and minute books to ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
• File incorporation documents, corporate registrations, and amendments with federal and provincial authorities.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.
• Monitor and ensure timely filing of annual returns, corporate updates, and statutory documents with government agencies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience of corporate or commercial law in Canada, corporate or commercial law experience, preferably in-house, with strong knowledge of corporate governance, incorporations, and statutory filings.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $114,000-250,000 per yearand for non-attorney roles is $64,000-201,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
