Nature and Scope :
Reporting to the Manager, Annual Giving this person will be part of a provincial fund development team supporting the activation of fundraising plans for YMCA BC. As an ambassador of the Y, this role will drive annual giving through the support of activities such as, pledged events, executing appeals, initiativesdirect donor asks, identifying potential major gift donors and stewarding existing and new donors to the YMCA – strengthening and growing the overall annual donor pool. This position will play a key role in the development of the new YMCA BC Signature Event that will entail all facets of major event planning and organization. This individual has experience working directly with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, excellent event management skills, a strong aptitude for fundraising, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while managing multiple projects and deadlines. They will have a deep awareness of our community needs and a passion to make a positive impact - while working collaboratively with the fund development team, and departments throughout the organization
This position will require travel across all regions (Greater Vancouver, Kamloops & Prince George) at key times throughout the year.
