SCOPE OF ROLE
The HR Business Partner works in concert with business partners to advance our people and organization strategy across the company. This role will have responsibility for end-to-end HR activity within his / her client group.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnering
- Deliver on people & organization strategy within client groups and develop solutions to issues that emerge from the business.
- Act as a trusted business partner with clients by providing coaching, counsel, and perspective on business, team, and people matters.
- Own and execute on core HR processes within client groups, communicating with, and supporting managers and team members to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
Talent
Act as an owner of the end-to-end talent acquisition process with the end goal of filling all open and approved requisition in accordance with defined standards.Develop and deliver on talent management plans with the end goal of having the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles.Execute on strategies that improve talent attraction, talent management, & talent development.Culture
Develop implement solutions based on employee engagement survey data that shapes the culture consistent with the company’s aspiration.Ensure a positive employee experience by managing end-to-end onboarding process.Reward & HR Operations
Manage all elements of compensation practices within client group in accordance with company standards. Make recommendations for salary offers, compensation adjustments, and promotions.Utilize HRIS system to assist with reporting on various workforce data.Manage the employee off-boarding process, including conducting exit interviews, explaining payroll / benefits implications, facilitating return of company assets and property, and IT changes.Manage the claims and leave management process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims / leave from start to finish, including return to work planning.Employee Relations & Employee Engagement
Interpret and administer company policies while acting as a resource to both managers and team members by offering support and guidance regarding company policies and practices.Conduct workplace investigations in accordance with company protocol.Other

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related discipline required.5+ years’ experience in Human Resources with exposure to a cross-section of HR activity required.Experience and proficiency with HRIS or HCM related systems.Comprehensive knowledge of various Provincial Legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health & Safety, WSIB, WCB, etc.)Experience and proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES :
