Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a talented, innovative, and collaborative team of professionals.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful design and implementation of OCS Bonding systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and external stakeholders), oversee design submissions, and ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of leading the establishment and review of basic and detailed design documents for OCS Bonding, but also coordinate technical interfaces and manage suppliers and subcontractors when applicable.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring on-time design submissions and compliance with the Engineering Work Package.

  • Leading the development and review of basic and detailed design documents for OCS Bonding.

  • Managing technical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Overseeing the integration of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS) requirements into the designs.

  • Ensuring consistency and compatibility across all sub-systems specifications.

  • Coordinating on-shore and off-shore design teams located in Toronto, Canada, and St-Ouen, France.

  • Providing technical input for customer correspondences and project documentation.

  • Managing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) procedures and leading technical evaluations.

  • Compiling and reviewing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and integrating Return of Experience (REX) from regional centers.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific fields.

  • Professional Engineer designation as per Canadian regulations (desirable).

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Project Management (desirable).

  • Experience in Electrification/OCS project management (minimum 2 years).

  • Strong expertise in OCS (AC or DC) engineering (minimum 8 years).

  • Experience working in a BIM-integrated design environment (preferred).

  • Knowledge of Canadian standards and common practices.

  • Proficiency in English; a second language is an asset.

  • Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and a keen interest in innovative technical topics.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is $100,000 – $140,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
