The Opportunity
Lounsbury Chevrolet in Moncton is currently seeking Shop Foreman / woman for our busy collision centre (bodyshop). We are looking for someone who is highly organized and has a passion for vehicles.
The hours are Monday to Friday from 7 : 30am to 5pm (no Saturdays!)

Responsibilities
Job Dispatching & Workflow ManagementAssign repair jobs to technicians based on priority and availability.
Ensure technicians have the next job ready with all necessary parts and documentation.Monitor and adjust workflow to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines.Quality Control & InspectionReview all estimates and repair plans before work begins.
Inspect body repairs before moving to the prep stage.Inspect prepped vehicles and mark them ready for paint using the designated systemTeam Leadership & CommunicationConduct daily 2-minute pitch meetings to outline priorities and goals.
Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.Provide coaching and support to technicians as needed.Facility & Equipment ManagementMaintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and workspaces.
Oversee care and maintenance of tools and equipment.Supervise purchasing of supplies and ensure proper inventory control.Customer Service & Quality AssuranceEnsure high-quality repairs and minimize rework.
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.Collaborate with estimators to ensure customer satisfaction.Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or GED Equivalent.3+ years of experience in an automotive body shop environment, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and quality standardsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesMust have a valid Driver's Licence and a clean Driver's AbstractHighly reliable and like to work as part of a teamAttention to detail
