WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Provide “Hand-On” leadership to a team of Maintenance Shift Supervisors on a rotating shift-based program. Responsible through direct reports for the development, implementation and day to day supervision of maintenance programs, processes, people, and documentation associated with efficient and High Performing Automated storage and retrieval systems, and storage and picking systems installed at “Our Customer’s” locations and surrounding area. This also includes : Helping build and maintain customer relationships at our customer site / s, understanding and leading our preventive and predictive maintenance programs, leading and following all SOP’s, Safety Policies, etc.). Identifying the appropriate time to escalate the issues following the agreed upon escalation procedures. The triggers and the appropriate response level and providing frontline leadership for this process.

Job Summary :

• To manage a team providing first class maintenance support to “Our Customer”; on operation and maintenance of automated storage and retrieval systems, and storage and picking systems installed at our Customers location.
• It is expected that the holder of this position will possess proven experience of managing an on-site maintenance team that deal with electro-mechanical faults and preventative maintenance operations on automated materials handling equipment within a warehouse environment. Reporting to Maintenance Operations Manager, the Site Maintenance Manager will be eager and determined to succeed, though safety conscious in all activities undertaken, with a track record of owning problems and taking them through to successful completion. In addition, the manager may be required to respond to emergency calls.
