Position Summary:

Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role involves the shipping and receiving of all parts, equipment, and materials moving through our Sudbury Warehouse. You will be responsible for organizing and managing the warehouse and tool crib in a mechanical contractor environment. The position requires picking up and delivering parts, materials, and equipment to and from job sites, suppliers, and the shop. Some out-of-town travel may be required periodically.

Responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of materials using a truck. Trips are mostly local in the Sudbury area, with occasional out-of-town day trips and rare overnight trips.
• Loading and unloading materials in the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor.
• Loading and unloading materials on job sites.
• Manual labor to carry materials to/from specific areas on job sites (rooftops, mechanical rooms, etc.).
• Warehouse duties and cleanup.
• Manage Tool Crib.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Valid forklift experience; certification required through the company.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials on job sites, up to 50 lbs.
• Previous warehouse and delivery experience is an asset.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Well organized, able to maintain tool crib inventory and warehouse stock.
