Mechanic Apprentice Heavy Equipment

EMCON SERVICES INC., a progressive Road & Bridge Maintenance Contractor in BC, Alberta and Ontario, is looking for a confident Apprentice Mechanic. Wages and benefits package are as per the AUPE Collective Agreement. This position is part of a team that maintains an equipment fleet of graders, loaders, sweepers, trucks and winter maintenance attachments. Knowledge and experience in Preventive Maintenance Programs would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team that maintains an equipment fleet of graders, loaders, sweepers, trucks and winter maintenance attachments.
• Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs would be an asset.

Qualifications

• Valid AB Driver’s Licence, Minimum Class 3 Licence with air brake endorsement (asset)
• Trade Journeyman in Heavy Duty Mechanic
• CVIP inspection Mechanic
• Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety driven environment
• Industry tools (hand tools)
• Physically fit and capable of performing job requirements
