Job Description

• Hire, train, and assess the performance of workers
• Set production goals and devise a strategy to achieve them.
• Maintain the production schedule.
• Ensure that the products meet quality standards.
• Produce production reports.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency.
• Control the layout of equipment and the flow of materials.
• Ensure that workers and equipment meet performance and safety standards.
• Keep an eye out for hiccups in the process and look for ways to improve operations.
• Employees should be supervised and given tasks.
• Communicate with other departments, such as the financial department to create budgets, the human resources department to hire new employees, and the logistics department to ensure product delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering is preferred. Prior experience in management or manufacturing is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational abilities Excellent interpersonal and team-building abilities. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to manage members of cross-functional teams. Manufacturing technical competencies (e.g., technical drawings, blueprints, CAD / CAM) Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other industry software.
