Venor is proud to partner with our client, Bruce & Monahan Chartered Professional Accountants , in their search for a Senior Manager who will follow a defined pathway to partnership. Bruce & Monahan Chartered Professional Accountants is an established and well-respected Halifax-based boutique public accounting firm offering accounting, tax and business advisory services to a variety of Atlantic Canada’s most reputable private companies. The firm’s relationship-focused approach works to intimately understand and strategically advise clients with personalized, partner-level service.

As a Senior Manager , you are responsible for building the business, leading the team, and working closely with the Partners to strategize, plan, and execute client and firm deliverables. Senior Managers provide public accounting, assurance, tax and advisory services to their clients. Their primary focus on building trusting long-term relationships and providing proactive advice from a management perspective, based on their knowledge of accounting and financial reporting processes.

As the ideal candidate, you possess a Bachelor of Commerce or BBA in Accounting, as well as a CPA designation with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience post designation. You have experience completing Review Engagements and Compilation Engagements, as well as being highly competent in ASPE and Financial Statement disclosures. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills while consistently conducting themselves with a high degree of professionalism. The Senior Manager will also have the ability to provide clear, committed, and effective mentorship to empower their team and enable achievement of both individual as well as organizational goals. Completion of, or desire to complete the CPA In-Depth Tax Program is considered an asset.
