OTHERTASKS
TheBusinessConsultantmustperformthefollowingtasksifrequiredbytheProjectAuthority:
·Considerbestpracticesinothergovernmentdepartments;
·EnsureconsistencywithGovernmentof Canadapolicyframeworksandinitiatives;
·TakeintoaccounttheimpactsoftransformativeactivitieshappeningwithinDNDandtheGovernmentatlarge;
·Engagerelevantpartiesasappropriateinthedevelopmentoffinalproducts;
·Identify optionsforbusinessmodelsandidentify opportunitiestostrengthen,reform,andrealign duties tobuildstrength;
·Proposerealignmentofrolesandresponsibilitiessoastomeettheneedsoftransformationwhileachievingtargetingresourcereductions;
·Identifyriskstotheimplementationofproposals,together withriskmitigationstrategies;and
·Developimplementationstrategieswhererequired.
Qualifications
·Must clearly demonstrate that theproposedresourcehasbeentheChiefFinancialOfficer (CFO) forat least three (3) years in theGovernmentof Canada within the last ten (10)yearsandaCIOinthepublicorprivatesector withinthepastfifteen(15)years
·Must clearly demonstrate that theproposed resource has a minimum of ten(10)yearsofexperienceinthelastfifteen(15)yearsproviding strategic advice and directionforfinancialorcorporatemanagementsystems to seniormanagementinthePublic Sector.
·Mustclearlydemonstratethattheproposed resource has three (3) years ofexperience in the business transformationofSAP based financial systems withinthe lastten(10years)within the Governmentof Canada.
·Must clearly demonstrate that theproposed resource has at least ten (10)years’experience within the last(15) years at theSeniorManagementlevelindevelopingabroadrange of processes and policies in anInformation Management/InformationTechnology/EnterpriseTransformation environment.
