Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a confidential global organization in the environmental and scientific services sector to hire a Recruiter for a 1‑month contract. This fully onsite position is ideal for an experienced high‑volume recruiter with strong sourcing capabilities and the ability to manage a diverse requisition load. You will be joining a collaborative talent acquisition team supporting hiring needs across Canada.Key Responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment across Canada
• Handle ~30 active requisitions in a high‑volume environment
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders nationwide
• Recruit for roles in BD, IT, Machine Learning, and Scientific/Environmental labs
• Support future corporate hiring (Finance, Procurement)
• Source and engage both active and passive candidates
• Recruit for both hourly and salaried positions
• Maintain a strong candidate experience
• Collaborate with two Junior Recruiters and the broader TA team
• Use Workday ATS to manage pipelines and candidate data
• Support process improvements within the recruitment function

What You Need to Succeed

• 3+ years of high‑volume, full‑cycle recruiting
• Strong sourcing skills across multiple platforms
• Experience recruiting across Canada
• Ability to manage ~30 requisitions at once
• Experience hiring technical, scientific, and operational roles
• Experience with both hourly and salaried recruitment
• Strongmunication and stakeholder management skills
• Workday or similar ATS experience (asset)
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
