YOUR ROLE : As a Paralegal leader of corporate services, you will manage legal files. Your responsibilities will include : Updating minute books, corporate records, and related records;Preparing and filing of various government reports (federal, provincial and extra-provincial declarations, etc.) and corporate documents (incorporation, registration, amending declaration, resolutions, annual reports, etc.);Assist lawyers in transactional files (produce closing agendas, prepare contract appendices, draft resolutions);Attend closing sessions;Act as a leader with jr Paralegals through mentoring and coaching;Participate in the recruitment and performance appraisal process for Paralegals on your team. REQUIRED SKILLS : Paralegal technology or any other combination of relevant education and experience;Mentoring experience with junior paralegals in corporate law;Experience in transactional corporate law;Natural leadership skills;Good time and priority management;Interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
