In a context of continuous growth, the company is looking to add a Construction Accountant to its team to ensure rigorous financial tracking of operations related to construction sites and projects.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day accounting for construction projects (invoicing, payment tracking, journal entries).

Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis.

Monitor project budgets and analyze variances.

Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end closings.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Ensure document compliance with current accounting and tax standards.

Participate in the preparation of internal and external audits.

Qualifications

Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector.

Excellent command of Excel and good knowledge of an accounting or ERP software (e.g., Yardi, Hopem, Maestro).

Rigor, autonomy, organizational skills, and a good team spirit.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Proficiency in French; English is an asset depending on the specific position.
