Silverblaze is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team!

We are seeking highly skilled and adaptable Full Stack Technical Support Engineer. This role will be an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our customers. As a Technical Support Full Stack Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to tackle diverse challenges, from troubleshooting complex issues to enhancing our software stack. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US and will be working in the EST timezone. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time. A valid passport is required for the travel.

What your impact will be :

  • SME (subject matter Expert) for Silverblaze products.
  • Contribute your ideas and technical solutions in a supportive, collaborative environment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues reported by users, providing timely resolutions and technical support as needed.
  • Collaborate with R&D team members to determine root cause and deploy solutions to customer issues.

What we are looking for :

  • 2 plus years of hands-on software development experience, including Full Stack Java / J2EE software design and development experience.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON and XML and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of database design and development, including SQL, Bootstrap, Apache and Tomcat.
  • Understanding of computer science concepts such as Data Structures, Algorithm Design and Optimization, System Architecture, and Design Patterns.
