What You’ll Do

• Zone the department.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; slices and prepares merchandise such as meat, cheese, fried chicken; and provides requested assistance.
• Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups / markdowns, signing / flagging / pricing / labels.
• Prepare deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilize slicers, stackers, and other utensils; prepare chicken using rotisserie oven and deep fryer; and fill prepared salads and side dishes for placement into display area and specialty orders from customers as required.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines.

Minimum Rate of Pay

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.45 per hour. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
