Position: Bakery Assistant Reports to: Head Baker

As a Head Baker you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Sprouted Oven whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.

Responsibilities

• Produce baked goods in a detailed and timely manner each day
• Follow all food safety protocols
• Formulate existing products to meet objectives
• Use the production sheet as required
• Use the different baking equipment for baked goods
• Read and follow recipes accurately
• Ensure work area is clean
• Provide support to the bakery team
• Communicate with the Head Baker regarding tasks, duties, or issues that arise
• Fully proficient in English
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Other duties as needed
