Job Title : Container (Intermodal) Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Container (Intermodal) Dispatcher to join a growing operations team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in intermodal container dispatching and must be bilingual in French and English. This role requires excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient movement of containers across rail, road, and port networks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan effectively and efficiently drivers routes, shipments and company equipment;
• Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound, while staying on top of daily priorities and weekly transportation goals;
• Ensure that truckers' daily trips are confirmed and completed by the end of the day;
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures;
• Review, prepare and communicate specific driver requirements and procedures;
• Handle driver and customer requests in a professional and timely manner;
• Actively build positive working relationships with all drivers;
• Update customer web portals as required;
• Track and update shipment status on internal company applications;
• Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as required
• Any other related duties;
