Job descriptionDetermine the size of food portions and costs Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization Requisition food and kitchen supplies Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Inspect kitchens and food service areas Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Order supplies and equipment Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Manage kitchen operations Health care plan Group insurance benefits Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Free parking available Other benefits Supports newcomers and / or refugees with foreign credential recognition Does not require Canadian work experience Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example : anonymizing the hiring process, etc.) Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
