We are seeking a Casual Cardiology Technologist at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.

Details :

Days of work : Rotating, Days, Evenings
Shift times : 06 : 00 to 15 : 30, 06 : 45 to 16 : 15, 07 : 00 to 15 : 00, 07 : 00 to 16 : 30, 07 : 30 to 15 : 30, 07 : 45 to 17 : 15, 08 : 00 to 16 : 00, 11 : 30 to 19 : 30, 13 : 00 to 23 : 00, 15 : 00 to 23 : 00

Key Responsibilities :

Perform ECG, stress testing, Holter and event monitoring, pacemaker monitoring, and other diagnostic cardiac procedures.

Explain procedures to patients, prepare them for testing, and answer questions.

Operate and analyze data from non-invasive cardiac tests, and record relevant data for interpretation.

Monitor patients during tests, recognize abnormalities, and notify medical staff as needed.

Maintain equipment, participate in quality assurance programs, and assist in staff and student training.

Maintain accurate records and statistics.
