About the Role
We are looking for a Bilingual Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale IT projects coordinating teams managing resources and ensuring successful delivery. This role requires strong leadership stakeholder communication and expertise in project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of the projects under their responsibility.
- Plan activities coordinate and supervise teams manage resources monitor progress manage risks communicate with stakeholders and ensure successful achievement of project objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinate the project team.
- Plan prepare and facilitate meetings related to project management.
- Produce project documentation including the detailed project plan the project organization manual the communication plan the risk management plan and the project closure report.
- Establish and manage project registers including the risk register the issues register the decision register and the change request register.
- Monitor the progress of activities with the project team ensuring that phases and deliverables are completed according to the planned schedule and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure regular updates of project status and inform stakeholders of progress issues and risks.
- Produce performance indicators and dashboards for reporting.
- Apply project management best practices and methodologies adopted by the organization.
- Contribute to identifying project benefits.
- Write documents as part of complex and large-scale mandates.
- Provide advisory support in project management.
Required Qualifications
Academic Background
- Hold a university undergraduate degree (bachelor s) in information technology business administration management or a related field.
Minimum Professional Experience
- Have at least TWELVE (12) years of experience in the field of information technology.
- Have at least FIVE (5) years of experience acquired within the LAST TEN (10) years as a senior project manager in information technology.
- Have participated in at least THREE (3) mandates of FIVE THOUSAND (5000) person-days completed within the LAST EIGHT (8) years where it was necessary to address technological concerns involving multiple administrative units within a single organization or across different organizations in a context similar to VPTI.
Professional Experience Assets
- Senior-level experience in strategic mandates gained in a context comparable to VPTI or within an organization of the scale of Sant Qu bec will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the healthcare sector will be considered an asset.
- Specific experience in managing Agile projects (Scrum Scrumban Kanban DAD or SAFe) or hybrid approaches (Agile Waterfall) is a significant asset.
Other Certifications
- PMI PMP and/or PMI ACP certification will be considered an asset.
- Agile certification will be considered an asset.
