Your Opportunity
Nested within Stantec's multiple disciplinary Human Environment team, our Indigenous Services team specializes in Indigenous engagement support, facilitation of traditional land and resource use studies, integration of Indigenous knowledge into environmental impact assessments. We provide Indigenous business procurement and Indigenous participation initiatives, cultural resources planning, management, assessment and mitigation services. We practice respectful collection and interpretation of information in collaboration with Indigenous Nations, Indigenous governments and Indigenous organizations.
Stantec's approach to Indigenous engagement is focused on reconciliation by working collaboratively with our clients to create and foster respectful and meaningful relationships. Through this approach, our clients are positioned to incorporate the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada : 94 Calls to Action. We practice respectful collection and interpretation of information in collaboration with Indigenous Nations, Indigenous governments and Indigenous organizations.
Stantec's Indigenous Services has an opportunity for an Indigenous Services Engagement Lead. We are looking for a candidate to be based out of one of our British Columbia offices : Burnaby, Kelowna, Kamloops, Quesnel, Sidney, or Victoria. We are also open to community-based work options.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
