Accounting Analyst (AP and Month-End Focused)

Our rapidly expanding client is seeking a dedicated Accounting Analyst - Accounts Payable to join their finance team. Hybrid role; 2-3 days a week in office

Responsibilities :

Manage entire AP cycle, including invoice entry, 3-way matching, general ledger coding, and vendor reconciliations.

Provide comprehensive support for month-end close activities, preparing journal entries for accruals and reclasses, and assisting with variance analysis.

Complete reconciliations across subledgers (AP / AR / inventory) to the General Ledger, adeptly clearing suspense accounts and resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.

Support cash flow management by preparing AP aging reports, identifying critical vendors, and flagging payment plan commitments.

Actively participate in cleaning up financial records and establishing new systems following recent acquisitions.

Rectify issues with existing records and systems, including bank accounts and payments.

Qualifications :

2+ years Financial Analyst experience with AP oversight

Candidates pursuing or willing to pursue a CPA designation is an asset

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Willingness to build and implement new processes from the ground up
