Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Our Suncor Sarnia Refinery Maintenance and Reliability Engineering team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer. You will support and specialize in the day-to-day tasks of returning equipment to operational capability. Your focus will be on short-term response to equipment failures, field troubleshooting support, and timely work scopes. You will also support the safe and reliable operation of equipment by completing integrity assessments and recommendations to the Production Unit (PU).

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of engineering experience with fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, boilers, piping systems and familiarity with rotating assets.
• Relevant field experience supporting maintenance and operations in an industrial environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered or immediately eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
