What Youll Do

This role is designed for an individual who is eager to take on a leadership role, be involved in the community, and help bring justice to those who have been harmed. Working alongside our Operations, Marketing, and Business Development teams, you will be at the forefront of building and growing a practice in Atlantic Canada. As a lawyer at Valent, you will provide the same incredible service our clients have come to know and expect from our firm.

Who You Are

• You will be a natural fit for this role if you understand the regional market, have proven community involvement, and have been called to the bar for at least two years.
• You are known for your collegial attitude and excellent people skills
• Seek out involvement in your community and non-profit organizations
• Are enthusiastic about office culture and able to easily build strong relationships
• You handle sensitive situations that require empathy, tact, and confidentiality
• You are committed to continuous personal and professional development
• You pride yourself on exceptional time management and thriving in a fast-paced environment
