Our client is a well-known hospitality group and are seeking a Head Chef for one of their vibrant establishments. This restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its electic menu and lively atmosphere in an urban setting. We are looking for someone with a hands-on kitchen management approach.
Responsibilities :
- Standardize recipes, plating instructions, and menu costs.
- Inspect food products daily to ensure freshness and uphold resort quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and purchasing team to source the best quality ingredients at optimal prices.
- Participate daily in food preparation to ensure execution and quality standards are met.
- Develop specials and coordinate with management on special events and marketing opportunities.
- Maintain a safe working environment and educate staff on safety practices and procedures.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
- Train and develop team members on technical and professional skills for future growth opportunities.
