We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant & Warehouse Operations Manager for one of our valued clients in the manufacturing sector . Position Summary
The Plant & Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects of a manufacturing and warehouse facility , including production, inventory, distribution, staffing, maintenance, safety, and quality. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with strong expertise in both plant operations and warehouse logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the plant and warehouse, including production, procurement, scheduling, inventory, storage, and dispatch
- Align warehouse and supply chain strategies with production goals to ensure operational efficiency and on-time fulfillment
- Supervise and mentor a cross-functional team of supervisors, technicians, warehouse staff, and production employees
- Monitor and analyze KPIs across plant and warehouse to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance throughput
- Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations across both plant and warehouse
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Identify and implement process improvements in production workflows and warehouse operations
- Oversee supplier relationships, inbound / outbound logistics, and inventory control
- Develop training and development programs to build a strong, high-performing team
Qualifications
6–10 years of plant and / or warehouse operations management experience in a manufacturing environmentProven leadership skills with experience overseeing both production and warehouse / logistics functionsIn-depth understanding of supply chain, inventory management, warehousing, and manufacturing workflowsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologiesProficient in Microsoft Office and ERP / MRP systemsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsPost-secondary education in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering , or a related field is an assetWhat We Offer
