Overview
St. Paul Education invites applications from qualified individuals for the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position. The SLPA will provide effective Speech and Language Therapy services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with the Inclusive Education team, educational staff, and families. Reporting to the Director of Inclusive Education and Early Learning and working under the direction of the Speech Language Pathologist, the SLPA will support and promote the success of all students as part of a multidisciplinary team across the school division. This is a full-time, 10-month position offering a comprehensive benefits plan. This position commences on August 27, 2025.

Geographically and demographically, St. Paul Education covers a large rural / urban area in Northeast Alberta. We serve the communities of St. Paul, Elk Point, Two Hills, Mallaig, Ashmont, Myrnam and Heinsburg. We also serve students from Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Whitefish Lake First Nation #128, Frog Lake First Nation and Kehewin Cree Nation. We serve 3640 students (K-12) across 19 definable school sites with approximately 232 FTE teaching staff and 293 support staff.
