Job descriptionDesign and implement cutting-edge manufacturing test strategies, systems, and software Champion Design for Testability across all product releases Lead engineering change processes, ensuring seamless integration from design to production Collaborate with electronics manufacturing service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges Provide remote support for manufacturing test issues Evaluate and onboard top-tier vendors for quality and commercial alignment Build and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers and partners Drive manufacturing quality audits and ensure product excellence through rigorous testing Mentor and guide junior engineers, technologists, technicians, and interns Coordinate daily operations within the Manufacturing Team Travel occasionally to partner sites and development hubs (1–2 times / year) Diploma or B.A.Sc. in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) EGBC registration / eligibility as an EIT 4+ years of hands-on experience in electronic manufacturing or related industries Deep understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and test strategies Expertise in board-level and system / box-level manufacturing and testing CRITICAL Strong foundation in math, physics, and first-principles design Proficiency in interpreting schematics and Bills of Materials Experience with LabView and TestStand for test development (LabView absolutely critical for consideration, candidates without recent exposure for board level testing will not be considered) Skilled in Microsoft Office, Windows OS installation, and PC hardware configuration Familiarity with Linux installation and configuration Knowledge of data collection and statistical process control for yield / failure analysis Experience with Linux-based networking and security Familiarity with change control processes Passionate about innovation and precision engineering A proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills Quality-focused, with meticulous attention to detail A clear communicator with cultural awareness, ability to interact professionally with a global demographic. A flexible, independent self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments

As a Manufacturing Systems Test Engineer , you’ll be at the heart of our product lifecycle—ensuring our smart grid solutions are robust, manufacturable, and ready for high-volume production. Reporting to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, you’ll be the bridge between product development and manufacturing, driving excellence in test engineering and product delivery.
