The Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting team ensuring accurate financial reporting compliance with internal controls and timely completion of month-end and year-end processes. This role provides leadership and mentorship to team members drives process improvements and supports strategic initiatives within the finance department.

Your Mission

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Prepare and/or review monthly billing documents tax filings and partner reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and company policies.
• Maintain internal controls and support audit requirements.

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes.
• Support system upgrades and enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with other departments to ensure the accuracy of reporting.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Provides clear direction sets measurable goals and holds team members accountable for performance and results.
• Coaches develops and supports team members through regular feedback performance reviews and career development planning.
• Fosters a high-performing inclusive team culture that aligns with company values and business objectives.

What You Bring to the Table

• CPA designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 57 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• English proficiency is required for this positionto effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation: At BioScript your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role level and geographic location.
